Besar (Large) scale only: High Risk (Tinggi) NIB + Izin (permit-based licensing). Full accreditation required from KARS (Komisi Akreditasi Rumah Sakit — Hospital Accreditation Commission). You need SIP (Surat Izin Praktik / Practice License) for the institution, STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi / Registration Certificate) for all medical practitioners, and operational permits from the provincial health department.
Only listed at Besar scale in the data — running a hospital is inherently a large-scale operation.
Fully open — 100% foreign ownership allowed. But foreign-owned hospitals must meet minimum capital requirements and demonstrate medical expertise.
